I visited to get a men's haircut for my long hair. The barbers were very professional, gave me the perfect fade on the sides, and cut the exact length I requested. I felt understood as they explained the exact steps they would take and provided helpful suggestions. It's a cozy salon but very efficient (I was finished in about 40 minutes for a cut, shampoo, and blowout!) and the prices were reasonable for the area (it cost me only $50 excluding tips which must be in cash). Walk-ins are not accepted, appointments must be made which isn't too inconvenient. I will definitely return.

I've been going to Kika for around 2 years now and I am so thankful I discovered them! Prior to that, I spent two years searching for a good hair salon after relocating to NYC in 2019, and there were many letdowns. I've been to both Alex and Jamie, and they are both fantastic. Everyone at the salon is so friendly - they really take the time to understand you and your hair.

The hairdressers here are seasoned pros and have been working here for 24 years! The stylist has been doing hair for over 40 years and was incredibly skilled. They knew exactly what I wanted and were also very efficient (other places would stab my head with 30 hairpins) and achieved the look with minimal pinning. The products used were of high quality as well. They were also careful not to mess up my makeup which I had just done before the appointment. They can also do wedding hair and updos. The studio was clean and spacious. Overall, a fantastic experience.
