**The front desk gentleman was frantic and extremely mean to my 11 year old who simply wanted to ask a question about availability of a nail design. Made her cry. Very upset and disappointed, it was my go-to wax place, will take my business elsewhere.**
**Where's the 6th star? The best waxing experience every time, practically pain-free. Lana is an absolute professional when it comes to Brazilian waxing for men. I'm one of those people who doesn’t like to chat at the salons, but visiting Lana is like catching up with an old friend. I found Dayana SPA through high ratings almost 6 months ago, and am so glad I gave it a go - could not recommend more highly. Must-go.**
**12/3/22 I went to my appointment at the 39 street location midtown Manhattan. The gentleman working there that day stated he thought it was an Asian person coming because of the name that I put on the booking. He was the only employee there at the time. I said to him maybe you shouldn’t stereotype and he got quiet. He claimed to not have enough time to service me and I stated that I could go somewhere else. I didn’t come there to be rushed or half service. He stated that he could do what I booked. He seemed to be rushing the waxing and I wasn’t cleaned properly after. I felt sticky. The bathroom isn’t in the facility so if you need a massage it’s best to do that before you undress into the robe. Then when it was time for him to do the Swedish massage he acted like he was afraid to massage me. Then told me it was a larger price when the website says a different price. He acted like he didn’t understand what a Swedish massage was. I haven’t ever experienced this type of service. A Caucasian gentleman was sitting there when I got dressed after the massage and the employee was doing his nails. I normally love coming here and using this company. I’m not sure what this employee's issue was. And yes, I am black amongst other things. This shouldn’t have happened.**
