The quality of service has significantly declined. Many of the individuals working there appear and behave as if they despise their job. I would assume that having knowledge about the products being sold would be a requirement in such establishments. However, when questions are asked, the response is often "I don't know." When my friend inquired about products for women of color, she was directed to "look in Mount Pleasant." Quite puzzling.
I visited to check out the new products since it had been a while. Unfortunately, I was very let down and won't be returning. The lack of customer service was evident throughout my time there with my family. An employee was clearly watching us from the aisles as if we were stealing. At the checkout, there was no mention of their policy change; they were solely focused on completing the transaction to meet their daily targets. I won't miss shopping at Sally Beauty and will be sharing my experience with others in the beauty community.
I passed by assuming they were closed due to the extremely dark window tint. It would be beneficial for them to have a bright 'open' sign rather than a small chalkboard on the door. The chalkboard was so tiny that even when I parked right in front of it, I couldn't see the listed hours. Two young individuals were on duty, and neither of them greeted me or seemed pleased to be there. When I went to pay, one of them asked for my rewards number, which I provided, and instructed me to review it for accuracy. My address was incorrect, so I selected 'no' on the machine. She then asked, "What's the issue?" I explained the address error, and she insisted she wouldn't correct it unless I signed up for a credit card. This was my only interaction, and even then, she made me feel like a burden. I'll be avoiding this store in the future.
