I am utterly appalled by my recent experience here. After completing my hairstyle, I was told to prep my hair before my next visit as it was deemed too challenging for them to handle as is. This demand seemed unreasonable - isn't it their responsibility as professionals to manage all hair types? The lack of work ethic and respect for natural hair led me to decide never to return. I detest spending time in a place that criticizes natural hair. If they dislike working with hair, why remain in the industry? I would give them zero stars if possible. It's disheartening to face such disrespect. They never raised these concerns before, so why now? Additionally, despite having a scheduled appointment, I still had to wait over an hour before they began my hair. While I understand delays due to busyness, waiting even after a stylist was available is unacceptable.
I made a quick appointment and my hair turned out amazing. The braiders were efficient and kind, making sure I was comfortable. They fit me in without any issues and I still made it to work on time. I opted for Senegalese twists and they turned out stunning.
This establishment is decent. When I visited, there was an unpleasant odor lingering. The braiders were tardy, and the owner seemed preoccupied with making personal calls. I showed them the type of hair I wanted, but upon the braider's arrival, I was informed it was incorrect. I ended up providing the correct hair at a discounted rate. Overall, I felt the place lacked cleanliness and the owner should prioritize guest satisfaction over other matters. However, my hairstyle did turn out nicely.
