My child had a 9am appointment for a blowout and pink highlights. The session concluded at 2pm, with only 2 highlights, one on each side of her face, and a total charge of $405.00!! Something seems amiss! The establishment seems to prioritize meticulousness at the expense of the customer. Had I been aware of the extensive duration and exorbitant cost for just 2 highlights and a blowout, I would have sought faster, more affordable service elsewhere! As echoed in other reviews, they levy prices akin to master stylists for those at entry-level. This certainly did not warrant a $405.00 expenditure. The stylist, named Morgan, repeatedly cited a miscommunication regarding the appointment being for highlights instead of pink highlights, which supposedly elongated the process. However, all that transpired was the addition of 2 highlights and a blowout, stretching the session from 9am to 2pm. It appears as if they deliberately prolonged the service to inflate the bill due to the alleged scheduling error. Despite my internal frustration, I opted to settle the bill to spare my 12-year-old daughter any distress. Nevertheless, I am inclined to share my experience on social media.
I’ve been a patron of pin ups for years, and recently transitioned to stylist Morgan. They are highly professional and attentive to my requests. The salon ambiance is consistently inviting and pristine, and I eagerly anticipate rebooking with Morgan. (Their hair washing skills are truly exceptional - my favorite part)
Monroe executed a stellar job on my hair today. They displayed patience and dedicated ample time to ensure my desires were met, addressing all inquiries and needs. For my initial salon visit, they surpassed all expectations! The new look and hairstyle I acquired is not something I would have felt comfortable requesting at a traditional barbershop. Additionally, Monroe provided valuable insights and recommendations that truly brought everything together. Their evident artistic flair, impeccable style, and laid-back demeanor are commendable. I urge everyone to give them a try!
