The service is usually satisfactory, but today when I arrived, there was only one technician available. A Caucasian couple entered without acknowledgment, and the technician, who was working on my nails as a Black woman, chose to assist the couple instead of finishing with me, the first customer present. I tried not to react to the situation based on my skin color and contemplated leaving without paying, timing how long it would take for her to return. She spent about 15 minutes with the couple before coming back to complete my nails. The customer service today was terrible, and when I addressed her actions, she became defensive. It is unacceptable for an establishment to prioritize customers based on their race. This issue needs to be addressed. Furthermore, she was upset about giving me a $15 discount and refused to add the diamonds I had initially requested on my nails before her careless decision. It was disappointing to be treated this way as a customer.
Mindy has excelled once more! She was highly accommodating and attentive to my nail preferences. My daughter and I have been on the lookout for a nail salon we enjoy as newcomers to Chicago. Thank you, Mindy, for your exceptional work!
I have frequented this place for more than a year now, and every nail technician who has worked on my nails has displayed great professionalism and skill. I have always left satisfied with their services. The pricing here is also very competitive. Overall, I enthusiastically recommend this establishment to all my acquaintances and frequently bring my family and friends here. I strongly suggest giving this place a try if you can.
