I have visited numerous nail salons in and around Riverhead to no avail. None left me content. Finally, I took a chance on Mattituck and visited Nails by Vivian. I have never been more content! My nails turn out FLAWLESS every time, whether attended to by Brian or Vivian. They are exceptional and incredibly kind. They even remembered my name after the initial visit and all my preferences! They are the GREATEST!
Less than stellar experience, was prompted to pay prior to manicure (standard practice). The technician quoted me the cost of my service ($25) and inquired if $28 was acceptable, to which I agreed presuming it was a gratuity. I settled the bill with my card. Upon exiting, she followed me outside to assert that I had neglected to leave a tip. Lesson learned: arrive with cash and understand that a tip is ANTICIPATED irrespective of your satisfaction with the service.
