I visited this place for the first time and was thoroughly impressed with the service. I highly recommend it. Definitely worth a visit.
I had high expectations coming in due to the positive reviews, but I left feeling extremely disappointed with my hair and the cold treatment I received. I had asked for a 2-3 inch trim, but my hair was cut much shorter than that without my consent. When I raised this concern, I was accused of trying to get a free haircut and was treated disrespectfully. I have never felt so belittled in my life. The stylist blamed me for the short length, claiming I changed my mind during the cut, which was not true. I have been getting the same haircut for 15 years without any issues. I usually visit upscale salons, but decided to try a more affordable option in my neighborhood after a positive experience at Great Clips LP. That decision was a mistake. The stylist, who I believe was "Cindy B" based on the door sign, failed to introduce herself and seemed unprofessional. She mentioned she was uncomfortable finishing my hair, which makes me suspect she intentionally ruined it out of judgment. The experience was traumatic, and I suggest requesting Lena, the manager, for a haircut.
I have been a loyal customer of Cut n More in Lincoln Park for years, and now my 9-year-old daughter also gets her hair done there. Lena is fantastic and delivers exactly what you ask for at reasonable prices. I highly recommend it! ❤️
