Secondly, I offered to pay half the amount after already putting down a $100 deposit, yet the owner insisted on full payment. The hairdresser, apologetic as she was, threatened to involve the police when I refused to pay for the botched job. After enduring a 6-hour ordeal, I reluctantly parted with $240 for a disappointing experience.
