Samantha at Massage Envy in Springfield is exceptional! If you are seeking cupping and trigger point therapy for any discomfort due to muscle tightness, she is the therapist to visit. Despite having seen numerous therapists in the past, I have never left without feeling relief. Moreover, the discomfort I initially felt lessened significantly during the session. The massage session was enjoyable as the therapist applied just the right amount of pressure. She was warm and welcoming both before and after the massage. Initially, we engaged in brief conversation, but during the massage, she maintained a quiet focus, allowing me to unwind by immersing myself in the soothing music and skilled massage techniques. However, I was slightly disappointed as I had anticipated a full body stretch at the conclusion. In previous experiences at different establishments (not Massage Envy), a full body massage typically concluded with stretching of the legs, arms, hips, neck, and shoulders. This particular session only included a stretch for the neck and shoulders. Since this was my first visit to a Massage Envy location, I am uncertain whether I should have requested the additional stretching or if it is not a standard part of the service. Hopefully, the management will consider incorporating light stretching at the end of massages as it significantly enhances the overall experience. Next time, I will inquire with the therapist about including stretching.
