Not only did I receive an early call to come in, but the service for natural hair box braids lower back was absolutely fantastic. 2 and a half hours of engaging conversation, music, and the visual delight of seeing different hairstyles being done simultaneously. I truly enjoyed it. Now, I'm interested in getting my hair colored and cut by another stylist at the salon, but the owner did such a great job with the locs that I'm tempted to try that style next. I know I'm gushing, but I really loved my hair and the experience. I will definitely be returning for a removal wash, blowout, and maybe a new style.
I entered a very warm and inviting atmosphere, and she was incredibly patient and meticulous with her braids. I had a great time filled with laughter throughout the appointment. They even offered me snacks and water. She understood that I was too busy to wash my hair before the service, and she handled it with grace. She's truly amazing, and I can't wait to return. Definitely worth the affordable price. #satisfied
Warning!! Proceed with caution if you decide to come here! I brought my teenage son in for knottless braids. Despite his 12 pm appointment, he didn't get into the chair until around 2:30. The owner mentioned a discount for the long wait, but it turned out to be just $5 off the final bill. It was my son's birthday, and unfortunately, he left unhappy with his hair. The braids looked thin and not like a full head of hair due to the parts being too skinny. The ends were already unraveling on the same day, and he wasn't pleased with the hair color either. My son ended up paying for the service without knowing what to do. I reached out to the owner on Styleseat to address the issue, but my message was left unread. After calling the salon, I received multiple excuses instead of taking responsibility for the mistake. Eventually, she promised to speak to the assistant who did my son's hair and provide a partial refund on the same day, but that never happened. Now, she's not on Styleseat, and my calls go straight to voicemail. It's disheartening to see business owners trying to get away with such behavior. Integrity is key!! This incident occurred over the weekend, and I gave her ample time to rectify the situation before considering sharing my experience.
