The technician had no clue how to operate a drill or remove gel polish. They and the tech beside them were making extremely rude comments about me in Spanish, assuming I couldn't understand. I felt so uncomfortable that I got up and left.
I was very disappointed with the service. I came in for a Gel Pedicure and Gel Manicure right when they opened. The tech took over 40 minutes to remove my gel. When I kindly asked, in both English and Spanish, for them not to file the polish off with a drill but to wrap the Shellac with acetone (it was a Shellac brand that I brought from my last service at another salon), they pushed the gel off correctly but then refused to finish the service, insisting that if they couldn't damage my nails their way, I should wait for the manager. The manager kindly offered to finish the service, and she was nice. However, she was in the middle of a long service with another client who had an appointment, so it would have been a wait to finish my nails. After the other tech was so rude, I didn't want to stay and went to another salon to complete my nails. I was the only person in the salon for most of the service, so they weren't very busy. Kudos to the manager for offering to finish my nails, but in the 14 years I've been doing gel nails in Miami, I've never seen such a poor nail tech and received such poor service. In the end, they charged me $15 for the gel removal, which felt like a rip-off after such terrible service. Avoid this place unless you're having the manager do your nails.
If I could give negative stars, I would. The nail tech cut my toe and heel during my pedicure. The cut was severe and bleeding. The nail tech didn't apologize at all, and the manager was equally clueless. Instead of being apologetic, the lady was rude in that situation. They don't use plastic bags in their pedicure tubs; they spray them down with "fantastik" between clients. The salon looks unsanitary. I should have left as soon as I walked in, but I needed a pedicure and my usual salon was fully booked. Terrible! Avoid this place!!!
