Typically, spas offer a serene and tranquil atmosphere. It is generally preferred that children are not brought along. However, Ashley chose to bring her infant to my waxing session. Throughout the appointment, her baby cried incessantly while she carried out the service. There was no apology or gesture of goodwill, which I found to be quite unprofessional. Visited Li Nails in South Holland, IL on 7/24 for a manicure and pedicure. My nail technician, Kim, was quite rough with her touch. The polish started chipping within just a couple of hours after leaving the salon. I was very cautious not to damage my nails, yet the polish almost completely came off by 9 pm. Paying $35 for a manicure that didn't even last a day was disappointing. I chose an OPI color, but I suspect they are not using authentic OPI products. It seems like they are refilling the OPI bottles with cheaper polish because genuine OPI products are known for lasting. If you want long-lasting polish, you have to shell out $65 for a no-chip option. I should have paid more attention to the reviews before going. I would rate them -5 stars if possible.
