Visited this store some time back to pick up haircare items for my partner with locs. Still mastering the art of retwisting, but the proprietor was incredibly courteous upon my arrival! It felt comforting not to be too conspicuous in a salon that caters to the black community lol. My daughter asked for blue-tipped nails, but wanted them in black. The acrylic set was priced at $35 on the menu, but I was charged $50. The end result looks nothing like the picture. My real nails were painted blue, but the technician only halfway removed the polish, leaving blue residue all around my cuticles. The acrylic set looks like it needs a fill-in. I requested the same length and shape as the blue-tipped picture but was told I needed to pay an extra $5 for the "almond" shape. In total, I paid $90 for both sets of nails, which included one polish. The service was a joke, and the technician was incredibly rude, even cussing in front of my 10-year-old child.
