I completely adore the craftsmanship that Tropical Nails provides!! I typically have Mindy and she's very amiable and does a splendid job! I customarily opt for a dip powder mani and it never fails to impress!! The team is exceedingly pleasant as well!
**UPDATED REVIEW BELOW** 1 star- Neat locale & Welcoming team, swift- but too hasty. Got a pedicure today and gel nails with tips. The polish on my toes is a complete mess. Bumpy and not sleek at all. My nails?! Oh my, the shape is dreadful!! Nowhere near natural and so thick!! I'm going on a cruise in 2 days and I look utterly absurd. I'll never return here. Not even certain of the lady's name who did them- she was very pleasant. But the job executed was awful. Been in my car weeping since I left and actually examined closer at everything. No clue what I'm going to do now. $100 for this chaos?!!! **UPDATE!!** 4.5 stars!! I reached out to them via Facebook and they consented to accommodate me again this evening at 6:30 (they close at 7). The lady redid my toenail polish and completely restructured my fingernails and repainted them.. she dedicated an hour and a half rectifying them! She stayed an hour beyond closing time, her spouse and young child arrived and he was very courteous and also expressed regret for the initial job that was done.. this lady was meticulous! I am so elated I returned! Perhaps the First Lady just requires more guidance or to decelerate.. I'm revising my appraisal to 4 stars solely because the first lady needs some refinement and I genuinely didn't have time for this to occur since I still need to finish preparing for our cruise.. but the second nail technician has my heartfelt gratitude and 5+ stars!! (She seated me at table spot number 3) view before and after snapshots.
I've been frequenting this place for about 4 years now, since the midpoint of my tenure at UVM as a student. I adore them! I visit every 3 weeks and they are always affable, dependable, and execute remarkable work. I usually opt for a gel manicure and standard pedicure, but I've tried tips as well and everything has consistently been exceptional. They handle the work they do with great care and pay attention to detail.
