I can only give them one star because it is mandatory. The experience was absolutely dreadful, but I should have known better given their consistent lack of professionalism. I arrived at 4:30 and left close to 6pm without receiving proper service. To begin with, the lack of hygiene is appalling! They failed to complete my service as I had requested not to have a drill used on my natural toenails. The staff rushed through the service, performing tasks halfway. Another staff member came over to assist me and used their nails to dig into my cuticles. When I asked for nail tools to be used instead, they became visibly upset and accused me of being too particular. Of course, I am particular - improper practices can lead to infections! It is clear that individuals of Black nationality should avoid spending their money here. During my wait, the same staff member put on gloves and fetched tools for the Caucasian lady being serviced after me. The mistreatment we face is unacceptable, especially considering they are also part of a minority group. The receptionist appeared overwhelmed as she was constantly given menial tasks. They do not welcome any form of feedback! The so-called manager was incredibly rude, never addressing me for 40 minutes and failing to maintain cleanliness standards. #nevergoingback
A friend recommended Broadmoor, and during my first visit, I was attended to by Rachel. She is truly exceptional and did a fantastic job! I am eagerly looking forward to my next appointment!
I once enjoyed visiting this place until my last experience. The individual Alex barely acknowledged my presence. They used the electric file with a very rough bit to remove my gel polish. Despite my repeated comments about the heat, they disregarded me without offering any apologies. Furthermore, they proceeded to cut my nails shorter even though I had clearly stated my preference to maintain their length. As a result of the excessive drilling, my gel polish started peeling after just three days due to my now overly thin nail bed. I am deeply disappointed and have decided never to return to this establishment.
