Enterprises must stay informed to enhance. I reserved a 1:30 pm partial bleach and tone (1/2 inch root growth) on a Saturday. No one informed me of the duration, and I assumed a maximum of 3 hours. While en route, the salon phoned to mention that my stylist was running 30 minutes late. I mentioned I was already on my way as I resided 40 minutes away. She apologized. Initially, I was fine with waiting, but then we conversed further, and she disclosed that the stylist had scheduled me for a 4 1/2-hour slot. I exclaimed, "What? 4 1/2 hours for a partial bleach and tone where all you're doing is touching up my roots?" I stated that no one had ever taken that long with my hair! Ultimately, I canceled my appointment and will never patronize this salon again. I hope the salon can glean a lesson from this. Clearer communication is key.
