The overreliance on self checkout is truly concerning. The store seems to have drastically reduced its staff. The manager who assisted me was exceptional - I can't help but wonder how long they will last, considering they were essentially the only one working outside the pharmacy during my visit.
I've only visited this store three times, and EACH time I encounter the elderly gentleman named Alex ALWAYS seems to find an issue with me loading a prepaid card. He acts as if it's a bother to him. Today, when I asked the pharmacist (a bald man or with an extremely short haircut and black glasses) if there was anyone on duty, he informed me they were using self-checkout. I explained that I needed to load a card, so he called the cashier from behind the pharmacy. The first thing she asked was if I needed change back because she had already closed her register to count it. Confused, I declined, and she then asked for my card details and the amount I wanted to load. I mentioned I would need to make two transactions to exceed the $500 limit, to which she insisted I couldn't do that. (THAT'S UNTRUE! I've done it before) I requested my card back and pointed out how every time I've been in the store, she has always had an issue with me loading my card. I wasn't impolite, just factual. The pharmacist then abruptly told me to "LEAVE!" He was incredibly rude. I will never spend another cent in that store. I understand the rush near closing time, but customer service should continue until closing! I've never had a positive experience with that elderly gentleman Alex. He has consistently made me feel unwelcome. It's unsettling how quickly the pharmacist reacted when I expressed my observations. He was far too entitled to repeatedly demand that I "LEAVE!"
Appalling. I'm transferring my prescriptions elsewhere. They are dismissive and shockingly impolite. When I asked a question, they responded with anger. My doctor informed me of a specific medication, and if it was changed, I was unaware, but they insisted, "you should know your meds." I assured them I was aware of my medications; it must have been changed, which caused my confusion. I asked them not to belittle their customers. These are medications crucial for people's health, and they have every right to inquire about them without feeling neglected. The woman with glasses and a ponytail is particularly unpleasant. When I was transferring my medications to them because of their proximity, she remarked, "ugh, all these meds?" What kind of response is that? They once gave my mother a medication with the wrong label entirely. They need fresh staff who genuinely empathize with their customers. If I could rate them 0 stars, I would.
