I came in for a gel manicure and was helped by what seemed to be the salon manager. While I didn't express my dissatisfaction at the time, the gel polish began chipping after only three days, which is definitely not typical for gel nails.
My gel manicure experience was unexpectedly painful. The technician painted my skin to my nails, then used her own nails to separate them, causing discomfort. She also selected the wrong color initially, and when she noticed, she questioned why I didn't mention it sooner. My cuticles are sore, covered in paint, and overall, I'm disappointed as I rarely treat myself to manicures. It's a shame because I was looking forward to pampering myself today, but now I'm left with unsightly nails and painful fingers. And yes, this occurred at the Tapo Canyon and Cochran location.
Absolutely loved my experience here! I called last minute and they were able to fit me in for a pedicure. The nail technician who assisted me was incredibly kind; we had a great chat about family and even hurricanes, of all things. Despite being quite ticklish, the massage was just the right balance of relaxation and avoiding any laughter.
