My most recent visit to the store was on Friday, February 16, as I was shopping for clothes for upcoming interviews. A staff member, Dani or whoever she was, approached me every 5-10 minutes asking if I needed help finding something, if I was ready to check out, or urging me to approach her when I was ready. This constant pestering was off-putting! At this point, I have decided to close my credit card with them and never shop there again! Additionally, they rarely have items in my size.
I have visited this salon three times now, with two different stylists. Both of them were excellent, and I intend to continue going there. They listened attentively as I explained my preferences and asked clarifying questions to ensure they understood before starting. The results have always been fantastic. Currently, I am seeing Devin, and she is truly wonderful!
I visited the salon today for a color and cut appointment. I had discussed my preferences with them over the phone multiple times prior to my visit. Arrived at the salon around 10 to 15 minutes early for my 1:00 pm appointment. Was informed that the stylist was running about 30 minutes late and asked if I was willing to wait. Since I had taken the afternoon off work, I agreed to wait. Sat in the lobby for an hour, observing the Salon manager passing by multiple times, complaining about various issues. At 1:55, I approached the counter to inquire about the stylist's readiness and was informed that she would be ready in a few minutes. She finally emerged just before 2 pm and mentioned she was prepared. Offered a brief apology. After discussing the desired look and showing her the picture, she mentioned she couldn't do the colors I wanted due to time constraints (despite being an hour late) and lack of product. She suggested only doing my roots and a cut since she lacked time and supplies. When I asked about the cost, I was quoted over $300 with no discount or apology. Declined the offer as it was not what I had requested for the price. Upon leaving, I spoke with the Salon Manager to express my concerns. When I mentioned the hour-long wait, I was told it was because I arrived early. Regarding the color issue, I was informed that they had to source the product as it wasn't in stock. Despite my clear communication during the phone calls, I was blamed for the misunderstanding. The lack of empathy or apology from the manager or stylist was disappointing. I advise against using this salon. In my opinion, it's not worth the risk. I cannot recall ever experiencing such poor customer service or lack of concern before.
