Had a facial treatment at this place recently and it was not up to par. Throughout the session, there was a constant push for additional add-ons, making it difficult to unwind. Despite clearly stating my preference for a basic facial without any extras at the beginning, I felt the facialist's behavior was unprofessional as she continued to inquire about extra services, knowing my financial constraints. I've had one yoga instructor before relocating to the Richmond area. I was feeling some nerves about starting anew but was fortunate to be directed to Glenmore Yoga. The atmosphere is welcoming and peaceful. The staff and yogis are kind, gracious, and caring and are invested in everyone’s success. Students are guided to work to their ability and there is no pressure to go beyond what's right for the individual. I leave refreshed and happy with the time and care given to my body. Dropped by after spotting their ad for a $30 pedicure! (Cash only) and it did not disappoint—it was fantastic! The chairs are incredibly relaxing. The welcoming and service were top-notch. The male technician was quite rough. I had to repeatedly request gentler handling. My nails look terrible now, as shown in the photo taken 8 days later. They were initially one solid color. Strands of my hair got tangled in them right from the start, which usually doesn't happen until at least two weeks.
