Had a facial treatment at this place recently and it was not up to par. Throughout the session, there was a constant push for additional add-ons, making it difficult to unwind. Despite clearly stating my preference for a basic facial without any extras at the beginning, I felt the facialist's behavior was unprofessional as she continued to inquire about extra services, knowing my financial constraints. The reason it doesn't get more stars is because such amenities are usually closed early or unavailable to members during posted hours. I've had one yoga instructor before relocating to the Richmond area. I was feeling some nerves about starting anew but was fortunate to be directed to Glenmore Yoga. The atmosphere is welcoming and peaceful. The staff and yogis are kind, gracious, and caring and are invested in everyone’s success. Students are guided to work to their ability and there is no pressure to go beyond what's right for the individual. I leave refreshed and happy with the time and care given to my body. The male technician was quite rough. I had to repeatedly request gentler handling. My nails look terrible now, as shown in the photo taken 8 days later. They were initially one solid color. Strands of my hair got tangled in them right from the start, which usually doesn't happen until at least two weeks. Lisa is so kind and gentle, I assure you will adore Lisa and return to her. Through the years we've become pals and watched our kids grow. Her English is fluent, can chat for the full hour. The salon is stylishly adorned, far nicer than most nail spots. You'll be spoiled with top-notch care and depart with stunning nails. I've been her client for 15 years and she always excels.
For COVID precautions, they've set up sturdy dividers at the nail stations. The pedicure tub is lined with disposable plastic for each use. I feel secure visiting here in the pandemic.
