Having practiced massage since 2002, the therapist at Lokahi Ohana Spa was introduced to Hawaiian Lomi Lomi in 2005. Training extensively with various kumu healers, including a rigorous program on Hawaii Island and under the late Kumu Dane Kaohelani Silva, they strongly value Hawaiian contributions to healing. Emphasizing the interconnectedness of body, mind, and spirit, Lomi Lomi is viewed as a powerful method to address physical and emotional wounds. This gentle yet profound technique works at a deep level to promote healing.
To get to Lokahi Ohana Spa at 304 N 149th St, Shoreline, WA 98133, United States by public transport, take bus number 330 from the nearest bus stop to Aurora Village Transit Center, then transfer to bus number 301 to 155th St & Aurora Ave N. From there, it is a short walk to the spa. If traveling by car, drive north on Aurora Ave N, turn right onto N 155th St, then left onto Ashworth Ave N, followed by a right onto N 149th St. The spa will be on your left.
