Arrived this morning for my 2-year-old's haircut... after waiting for about an hour in line with 2 stylists working, a new stylist came in, tidied up her station, and called my son's name... when I sat him down, I mentioned that this was his fourth haircut, but he was still a bit scared... she told me that if he cried at all, she would stop and not finish his haircut... I understand they don't want a screaming child... But not even a single cry is allowed!!! This is Great Clips, not a high-end salon! Why wasn't I told this before waiting an hour in the waiting area? (my son was very well-behaved while waiting) the stylist was rude and harsh!
The last two trips (different stylist though) I've had to tidy up the messy haircuts my son got. I wish I had snaps to post with this review. Yesterday, she left sizable patches on my son's neck, cut one sideburn straight and left the other pointed. The front was uneven and she didn't bother to clean the loose hairs off his face. I was trying to explain how he wanted it cut because he was too shy to speak up when she interrupted with an attitude, saying, "So we're not doing the usual cut," asked my son to come over, and walked away to her chair before I could finish explaining. I won't be coming back here.
