Since relocating to Deptford approximately 2 years ago, this salon has become my preferred choice, and my favorite stylist has been the equally skilled and delightful Jackie Woody! I trust her to choose a hairstyle that will suit me best, and she never fails to impress!
All the employees are fantastic here, they excel at serving both children and adults.
My experience was less than satisfactory. I arrived at Great Clips with a 0 minute wait time. I assumed it would be a smooth visit. I requested a wash and cut, a simple request. However, I was informed by my stylist that they do not provide washes. This was a new concept to me. As I proceeded with just the cut, the stylist made me detangle my own hair and exaggerated the knots in my hair. While I do have curly/kinky hair, it was not as tangled as she claimed. After receiving a minimal trim, she remarked that I could cut my hair just as well as anyone else in the salon. I will not be returning, as I felt I wasted $20 on a 5-minute experience I could have easily done at home.
