I have been a citizen for over a decade. This time I reached out at 1 PM to inquire about same day facial appointment for myself and my companion, expressing my wish to gift one of my sessions to them. They mentioned availability at 3 and 3:15. After a brief call to reschedule due to a conflict, I was informed that I would forfeit both sessions as they couldn't rebook the staff. With the appointment only two hours away, I decided to bring my mother along. Upon arrival, there was only one esthetician available, resulting in us having to take turns for our facials. Not wanting to keep my mother waiting for an hour, only she received the treatment, and we departed. Despite having unused sessions that could have been utilized, my card was still charged. Assistant manager Aisha, whom I spoke to, displayed rudeness and unprofessionalism, offering no resolution. Following an email expressing my dissatisfaction, I was informed that I had been blocked. The receptionist was attentive but mentioned that only the manager could address the issue. What was meant to be a relaxing session turned into a costly headache.
I’m writing to caution others considering citizenship at this franchise location. I am in the process of terminating my membership and facing obstacles. It appears they are deliberately complicating matters for me. Despite my request for a form to be emailed to me, they are reluctant to do so. They stated it would take 10-14 business days to send the form. Even after waiting the specified period, I have yet to receive it — and they will then make me wait an additional 30 days for processing. Exercise caution before making any commitments to this location. I suggest exploring alternative Massage Envy locations for membership.
