I truly appreciate my experiences here for getting my curly hair styled. Wendy handles my hair, and after a decade of searching, I finally found a stylist who truly understands how to cut curly hair. Wendy does an exceptional job. The staff are all incredibly friendly, and the salon is consistently clean. While it may be a bit on the expensive side, at least I do not leave looking like I ran my head through a lawnmower.
Update: 11/04/21 I scheduled an appointment for four weeks later during my last visit. My hairdresser, Shannon, provided me with a business card. Arriving ten minutes early today, I was informed, "The computer must have malfunctioned. If you don't mind waiting for 30 to 45 minutes...". This is an extremely poor business practice. Perhaps the other client was receiving a more lucrative service compared to my simple haircut. I have decided not to return, ladies!
I visited this lovely establishment, greeted warmly by the receptionist. However, the stylist I had did not heed my requests. Despite showing her three haircut photos, she dismissed them as unsuitable for my hair. As a first-time visitor with naturally curly hair, I am well aware of its capabilities. I had to rectify some uneven lengths and adjust the back myself. I had requested a slightly longer front, but she decided to angle it instead. It seems she followed her own preferences. I'm certain other hairdressers at the salon are excellent. I typically do not voice complaints.
