Extremely dissatisfied with my visit. The massage itself was mediocre, and the overall ambiance was far from clean or relaxing. The massage studio is situated within an office building, with restroom facilities reminiscent of those found in schools. The room was excessively bright, the massage table sheets had holes, and there was a noticeable layer of dust. When I opt for a massage, I anticipate a soothing, inviting environment. Unfortunately, this was not the experience I encountered. Refer to the attached images for reference. Despite voicing my concerns post-massage, no form of compensation was extended. I am baffled as to how this establishment maintains a 4.9/5 rating.
5⭐ for the Himalayan salt stone massage with Priscilla! 4 ⭐ for the establishment (while I wasn't anticipating a high-end spa, I had hoped for a serene, tranquil atmosphere. The decor and lighting gave off more of a medical office vibe)
I spontaneously decided this morning to treat myself to a massage after enduring around 3 weeks of neck discomfort. Managed to secure an appointment with Patrice. She greeted me warmly upon my arrival and attentively listened to my requirements - even taking the time to review the details on my online form from when I booked the appointment! This attention to detail was truly appreciated. It gave me the impression that she genuinely cared to comprehend the reason for my visit. Her massage technique was exceptional, displaying a high level of professionalism and readily adjusting pressure when I requested a lighter touch. Following the massage, although she recommended scheduling another appointment sooner rather than later for the benefit of my neck condition, she did so without being pushy. In fact, she even suggested another massage therapist who might be a good match if I preferred. Overall, it was a positive (albeit slightly painful due to the state of my neck/back! Not her fault!) experience. Additionally, the room where I received the massage boasted a lovely view of Lake Union. I will definitely be booking again.
