I visited Sarah for a DermaFresh peel and I'm officially a fan! Let me start by saying I'm a woman approaching 40 and I'm trying to delay procedures like botox for as long as possible (not that I'm against it). What intrigued me most about the peel was the minimal recovery time (I juggle work and two kids, so time is precious). Here's a brief rundown of my experience. Day one. The gel was applied to my clean skin, there was a slight tingling sensation but no burning. After just 7 minutes, the peel was removed, my skin was prepped, and I was out the door. The entire process took around 20-30 minutes. My face was slightly pink for about an hour, then it settled. Day two. Some flaking around the nose... that's all. Day three. Flaking around the nose disappeared, my face felt smooth but tight. (Remember to hydrate your skin!) Day four. No more flaking. Healing complete.
