I was extremely pleased with my visit to Willa Hair Co! I've had negative haircut experiences before, but Madelyn did an exceptional job of grasping exactly what I desired! I adore my hair, and I highly suggest visiting here if you want amiable, skilled stylists, a warm ambiance, and an overall fantastic experience!
I contacted about 2 weeks before the appointment scheduled for April 20th for my son to have his hair washed, trimmed, and styled for his PROM. On the day of Prom, he had a 2pm appointment. When I booked his appointment, I was very clear that it was for Prom that same day. Upon arrival, we were slightly delayed, around 20 minutes or less. Upon entering, the stylist gave us a strange look. I informed her that my son was there for his Prom hair. She informed me that my son was scheduled for a BLOW DRY and only had a 20-minute slot. I was taken aback! I had emphasized it was for Prom, not just a blow-dry. There needs to be a serious discussion with the staff about scheduling appropriately. It was a major letdown for us. The stylist suggested we go to Great Clips! This dismissive attitude made us feel disrespected. A few minutes later, another staff member from the salon called and offered to style his hair, but we were so upset by the situation that we will never return to Willa again. If you seek a special hairstyle for a special occasion, ensure to double-check with them to avoid a mistake like this. Thank you! Just to note, my son has short hair, which was also mentioned during scheduling.
I had a highly unsatisfactory visit at Willa Hair Co. The stylist completely ignored my instructions on how I wanted my hair cut, leaving me nearly bald. It was evident she lacked the skills to properly thin out hair. Additionally, she displayed unfriendliness throughout the appointment and was rough while washing and styling my hair. My head aches from the experience. To add to the disappointment, she didn't bother to fully blow dry my hair after cutting it. Overall, the service was lacking professionalism. I do not recommend this salon to anyone seeking a quality haircut.
