I visited Hampstead Nail & Spa for the first time today and it was a fantastic experience. Despite having to wear a mask and use hand sanitizer due to covid-19 protocols, the salon had proper barriers in place to ensure safety. The cleanliness and organization were top-notch. The owners were friendly and engaging, making my visit even more enjoyable. The pedicure with a hot stone massage was incredibly relaxing, and my nails turned out beautifully. The extra coat of top coat they applied for my camping trip was a thoughtful touch. Overall, I was very impressed with the service and left extremely satisfied. Thank you!
The male nail technician at this salon was incredibly impolite and rushed through the service. He lacked the skill to properly shape nails, leaving mine bumpy, uneven, and cracked. When I requested a refund due to my unpleasant experience, he was rude over the phone but agreed to refund the money. However, upon returning to have the nails fixed, he aggressively clipped the tops of my acrylics, causing me to bleed. He refused to remove the entire nail. This has been my worst nail salon experience, and I will not be returning.
