I am extremely let down by the service I received today, and last week's (12-14-23) was just awful! When I resided in Alamo, I frequented Bollinger Nails for many years and was always pleased. What has transpired now??? My acrylic nails are a disaster - no massage, no cuticle care, excessively thick, and unattractive. When I arrived today at 3, the salon was empty. I requested a simple manicure, but both the receptionist and technician seemed clueless about my needs. All I wanted was a basic cleanup manicure. I'm not asking for a gourmet meal, just the standard service one expects from a nail salon. Caution*** Stay away - they lack the motivation to provide basic service! I will post photos for everyone to have a good chuckle!
Extremely frugal with the nail polish. They only showed me two color options, but when another client arrived, they scurried around to find every color available for her. They applied as few coats of polish as possible. I had assumed they would have low prices, but no, they were high and overly eager to display their Venmo codes for tips. I went along with tipping, but I am dissatisfied and will not be returning.
This was absolutely the worst nail job I've ever experienced. The team was delightful, but the individual who assisted me seemed to be in a foul mood. She cut my cuticles too aggressively, causing bleeding on nearly all my fingers, which was quite painful. The application of dip powder was uneven and poorly done, she couldn't shape my nails into an almond shape as requested, and the design I asked for was beyond her capabilities. There was a significant amount of blood due to the rough cuticle cutting. I tend to avoid confrontation and didn't feel comfortable asking her to stop, a mistake on my part. What a significant waste of $85. I have no intention of returning.
