I really wanted to enjoy my time here. It had been a while since I had a full mani-pedi and I needed some self-care. Bayside nail and spa was recommended by a friend with a great experience, but they don't usually do gel manicures or pedicures. However, I trusted their recommendation.
I really looked forward to taking my daughter for a manicure and pedicure at Bayside nails. Unfortunately, we waited over 20 minutes past our appointment time for the pedicures to begin. There was no communication about when our manicures would start, and after 45 minutes, I informed the manager we no longer had time for a manicure. She suggested just painting our nails so we could finish on time. I agreed, but she tried to charge me for full manicure treatments for both of us ($50). When I explained I wouldn't pay for services not received, she pushed back multiple times. They also don't validate parking, which cost $15 for 1.5 hours. Won't be returning as it felt rushed and not as expected. Also, my cuticle was injured.
Caitlin (or Kaitlin sorry) was absolutely fantastic with my nails! The shape was spot on and she took her time ensuring everything was perfect. She also gave me a delightful massage! Her mom, Lee, and Seven both worked on my toes. The pedicure was given with great care and amazing massages. Highly recommend 10/10 - so serene and top-notch quality! Visited before a wedding I’m part of and proud to flaunt my nails & toes!
