They are exceptional. Dr. Mercedes Ryan is an extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, friendly physician. She always listens to our worries and thoroughly explains everything to us. My son is always thrilled to see her! She is incredibly patient with him, even when he's restless, and her deep care for children is evident. She also excels in inquiring about how we, as parents, are coping (especially moms!). She ensures everyone feels comfortable and well-cared for. The rest of the team is also remarkable. It's clear that they all take pleasure in their work and love assisting children!
Kraig E Bertram II DO is an awful doctor. He was unhelpful when my child was hospitalized. Despite being admitted, he never once listened to my child in 24 hours. When we requested a transfer, the doctor and nurse ridiculed us. It wasn't until we insisted on being transferred that our child was taken seriously. I do not recommend hospital admission under his care. Stabilize the child and transfer out.
Visiting Salina Pediatric is an incredible experience from the moment you walk into their facility. The reception staff is exceptional, making the check-in and check-out process quick and effortless. Their waiting areas are fantastic, designed with kids in mind and charming. The nursing team is delightful, compassionate, excellent with children, and engaging; they ensure the entire visit is comfortable. The physicians are outstanding; they foster patient loyalty, promote family involvement and care, create a welcoming atmosphere, and are transparent and truthful about everything. Their examination rooms are extremely child-friendly: the ballet-themed room, Star Wars-themed room, lion-themed room, rainforest-themed room, dinosaur-themed room, etc. The rooms are always enjoyable and cozy. We thoroughly enjoy the entire experience each time.
