This pharmacy has shown significant improvement. The majority of the staff members are wonderful. Mike, the pharmacist, is exceptionally attentive to the patients, and Ellie, who works in the pharmacy, is truly outstanding. When my son passed away on Monday, they ensured that I received the necessary medications promptly. The new staff members have brought about a remarkable change in this pharmacy, and I would wholeheartedly recommend them to everyone. Wishing all the staff at SMP a joyous holiday season. You all are doing a remarkable job and deserve more recognition. ❤️
The establishment is decent, although the prices are a bit steep as is common with small local businesses. What truly irks me is the extensive wait time I endure while standing in line. I spent twenty minutes in line with only one person ahead of me, which was quite frustrating.
I have a strong preference for supporting local establishments. Our insurance policy restricts us to local businesses only. Unfortunately, the only other option within a one-hour radius of my residence besides St. Marys Pharmacy was to order online. It took three separate phone calls to have my daughter's prescriptions processed. Each time, the individual on the line would promise to retrieve the scripts from the other pharmacy and call back, but none of them followed through. This was particularly concerning as my daughter is diabetic. The final straw came when I attempted to refill her diabetic supplies. I was informed it would be ready the following week, but upon arrival, it was not available. Apparently, their "wholesaler" does not stock this commonly used diabetic supply, despite them claiming it to be uncommon. I expressed my disappointment that they did not notify me that they could not provide my daughter's life-saving supplies. To make matters worse, when I tried to fill it online through my insurance, I encountered issues because it was already filled in their system by St. Marys Pharmacy. Upon contacting the pharmacy, I discovered that they had not reversed their earlier statement about being unable to supply the item. This level of incompetence has left me extremely frustrated. There is a high likelihood that we will no longer rely on them for our maintenance medications due to this series of mishaps. Truly disheartening.
