I went in for an all over color and cut. Told the stylist I was interested in going to the lightest brown we could get to. I was told that wasn’t possible and I should go dark brown with amber tones. I like the color but would have preferred the light brown. I talked to a friend that was a stylist and she said I could have gone light brown. While getting rinded the entire back of my shirt was soaked! No product was offered and I was half dried but not styled. Then I found out the stylists was off at 3. I had asked for a Master Stylist when I booked the appointment and was told “Well, all our stylists are Masters.” I’m very dissatisfied and both St Louis Park Fantastic Sam’s are opened by the same person. The owerner is very nice and professional but my stylist was not.
I will not be returning here. Not only do i have issues with the fact that all i was wanting to pay for was 2 haircuts and an eyebrow wax, so expecting to spend 50 or 60 dollars before tipping, but i was charged twice that and was not warned and did not ask for anything extra. I was told after the fact that they charged me for styling me and my daughters hair! Why? because they blow dried it? I could have styled both our hair the same way they did. But i also have an issue with the fact that the woman who cut my hair and waxed my eyebrows brought me to the hair washing station and i thought she was waxing my eye brows but she started washing my hair without warning me and i had a hoodie on and the hood was hanging into the sink and got all wet... then when she was cutting my hair she didn't velcro the smock around my neck so as she was cutting my hair it was all falling in the hood and down my neck.for 115$ i could have gone to a real salon had them do a better job and been better cared for. I left there wet and itchy and feeling robbed. I am really disgusted with this place. As i said i wont be returning.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. I went in for a trim and walked out with the most uneven bangs I have ever seen and a bloody ear. I won't go too into detail, because quite frankly, it is pretty gross, but my stylist (an older woman) injured me and gave me what she though were "face framers" but was actually just a chunk of hair that she decided would look good to remove from one side and not the other. It has been over three weeks since this cut and I am still so upset about the experience. Not only was the quality of the cut horrendous, but the conversation about her life was so negative and vulgar, I wanted to leave mid service. I contacted management about everything and they took two weeks to even respond and it was the worst apology I have ever received (if you can even call it that). I sent them photos of my cut and damage to the back of my ear and all they had to say is that they would talk with the stylist, but that she has "been in the industry for years" and that this was the first complaint she has received. I don't care if she invented hair cutting lol I received a terrible service and nothing was done to fix it.
