My recent visit here left me thoroughly dissatisfied. Over the past few years, I have sporadically indulged in pedicures at this establishment, always with satisfactory results. Following a positive experience with a pedicure, I decided to return last Saturday. I scheduled an appointment the day prior for a pedicure for myself and my granddaughter, along with gel application on her nails and feet. Firstly, upon arriving for my appointment the next day, despite waiting for 20-25 minutes, they were still unprepared. While the host kept reassuring me of a short wait, the essence of having an appointment seemed lost. Secondly, and most significantly, the gel on my granddaughter's nails barely lasted a day. Initially opting for regular polish, we had to return as it chipped off before she got home. Subsequently, we requested a gel repolish, which also failed to endure beyond three days. Additionally, the charge for the gel repolish was $15, whereas I should have been billed $13 considering the $7 already paid and the standard $20 fee. While the $2 difference may seem trivial, it speaks volumes about customer service. There was no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused by the swift return. Despite these shortcomings, I reluctantly scheduled another appointment for the following day, only to encounter further delays. Disheartened, I departed and have no intention of revisiting. Nail salons abound, and it is imperative to elevate customer service standards. I trust this feedback proves constructive.
My initial visits were delightful! However, during a subsequent appointment, an elderly gentleman with spectacles engaged in a slight disagreement regarding the application of tips before powder dip. Upon returning for a redo, the lady assigned to me left my nails crooked, uneven, excessively long, and with varying almond shapes at the tips. I had to seek immediate rectification elsewhere. Regrettably, I am hesitant to revisit. The establishment itself is impeccably clean and aesthetically pleasing.
