DO NOT COME HERE! I phoned them at 6:00 before coming in for a GELX and Pedicure, and they said to come, even though they close at 7:30. So I arrived, and they mentioned two technicians would work on me simultaneously but it would cost $10 more for that reason. My pedicure was decent, but my GELX experience was dreadful. Initially, a young technician did my nails, and she applied two out of 5 nails crooked and lacked confidence in her work. Despite attempting to fix them before removal, they still appeared crooked. At this point, her aunt took over my GELX and restarted my entire right hand. She took longer than usual for GELX, didn't properly prep my nails, and also applied them crooked, leading to removal. I was still there at 9 pm, and when they asked for a total of $167 for GELX and a basic gel pedicure, including 2 credit card fees despite using only one card, and an extra $10 for dual technicians, I found it excessive compared to other salons given the poor quality of work. The next day, after scrubbing out of my OR case, the gel polish had chipped off in 7 nails. Upon contacting the salon for a fix, my concerns were dismissed. Sophia insinuated that the technician spent too much time with me and refused to assist, suggesting I go elsewhere for a fix. She essentially accused me of lying and denied the chipping. Promises of a supervisor's call went unfulfilled. The salon's customer service is abysmal, and they are essentially cheating customers with subpar services. They lack professionalism, and I strongly advise against patronizing this salon!
Last Tuesday, I visited Nails 07 for my first nail appointment. I opted for a gel manicure with extensions. While the salon experience was pleasant, by Friday, my nails started lifting, and by Sunday, two nails tore off completely. On Christmas morning, one of the lifting nails caught and tore a part of my natural nail. Given the manicure's cost, I expected them to last through Christmas at least. The premature lifting and tearing within a week of getting them done was highly disappointing.
I visited on Saturday, June 8, 2024, for a gel manicure. Upon arrival, I noticed 5 nail techs seated in the lobby. After being told to wait, I sat for 4 minutes before receiving service. Interestingly, a Caucasian woman who arrived after me was immediately attended to. Disappointed by this experience, I left. I have been a regular at Nail07, and it's concerning to see nail techs idle in the lobby instead of working or using a break room. Poor service.
