I visited this nail salon for the first time and had a regular manicure. Two days later, most of my nails were chipped, with the nail polish peeling off like skin. I paid $25 plus a $7 tip, totaling $32. It was a waste of money and time. The owner tried to explain why my nail polish chipped, but I knew it was because there was no drying time between the layers of polish. He simply painted my nails without waiting for them to dry, applied thick layers of nail polish, and completed my nails in just 15 minutes. That's the reason for the chipping. If I wanted them fixed, I would need to schedule another appointment. The owner offered me $10 back, which I found ridiculous. When I do my own manicure, the nail polish lasts at least a week. Additionally, the salon was extremely dirty. Good luck to anyone going there. I have no idea how people give them 4 or 5 stars.
The very next day after getting a "NO CHIP" manicure, my nails chipped. I had these done for my birthday, and they didn't even last until then. I'm taking pictures now, a week later, and this is what my nails look like. I don't know what kind of "no chip" polish they used, but my nails should still be intact. I usually don't spend money on nails, and I regret doing it.
I've been getting my nails done for over 20 years at another salon and decided to try this new place. The technician was polite, but the quality of the work did not scream "professional" or high-quality. My nails looked nice for a day or two, but gradually started lifting and falling off. This had never been an issue for me before. The conversation during the appointment revolved around politics and religion, which raised red flags for me. The atmosphere of the salon was dark, dirty, and uncomfortably hot. I highly recommend avoiding this place.
