I began bringing my son to Alex about three haircuts ago. The first time I scheduled an appointment, I made an error so we had to wait a little longer for our haircut. The second appointment I specifically requested a barber. The individual who was going to cut his hair was not a barber, so we had to wait again for the barber... and I’m talking about a 45-minute wait. Not 10 minutes. The third appointment was today for 4:45. I called instead of booking online. I made sure that I had a barber for my son. At 4:45 we walked in, and our barber was seating a boy in his chair to start a haircut. The person at the front desk said he’ll be with you in a minute. 25 minutes later, when he finished that haircut, he proceeded to take another man into his chair. So when I approached and asked the woman what was happening, she explained that, yes, they had also made appointments. At no point did she say to me, "I’m sorry ma’am, just to let you know you have two other appointments in front of you because he’s running late." This is unacceptable. If you had informed me of that at the beginning, I might have been more inclined to stay, but you’ve lost my business. Do better, Fantastic Sams. It’s all about your customer service and you have none.
