The attention to detail was lacking! Nails were uneven, not properly smoothed and filed. All nail edges were done unevenly, not worth the $85 I paid. I've paid less for better service and results before. Not much effort was put in. No cuticle removing solution used. Not even a quick dip in hot water for my hands! The pedicure lady made an effort, but seemed unsure. The manicure lady kept giving instructions in their language. She was dismissive, stopped in the middle to answer her phone, and texted back and forth. Very unprofessional. I chose this place for its proximity, but I wouldn't recommend it.
The salon is nice, but the experience wasn't very relaxing or enjoyable. They weren't honest about availability. The music was obnoxiously loud and staticky, and the quality wasn't great. I walked in, which I know can be challenging to accommodate. I was upfront about my time constraints and even asked if I should come back later. The gentleman insisted he had time immediately and seated me. Five minutes later, he started removing my nails and then worked on a pedicure. Ten minutes later, he returned to finish removing my nails and left again. I asked if I should return, and he said no. A lady came a few minutes later, worked on my nails briefly, and left again. She finally returned and finished. I questioned my nails during the process as it was a technique I hadn't seen before. She explained and finished. When done, I noticed my nails looked like they were lifting or some of the SNS was still under the new SNS. She said she didn't see it and blamed previous nail techs. I let it go due to being late and the headache from the loud music. I left an hour and 40 minutes later. Within three days, my nails were cracking. Within six days, they were breaking. 👎
Everyone was nice but didn't do my nails as I wanted, and they ended up too short. The top coat wasn't painted on properly, leaving a huge gap at the cuticle area. Three nails broke two days later. The gel polish on my toes was unevenly painted and on my cuticle area. Two of my toenail polishes chipped off the same day. Overall, I wasn't happy with my service and had to spend extra money to get everything redone.
