I came to purchase some deodorant. The shelves appear quite bare, for reasons unknown. However, the refrigerator is well-stocked, which is pleasing. I appreciate the wide selection of ice cream available.
Since the closure of my previous Rite-Aid and my transfer to the Rosemead branch, I have encountered a few issues on multiple occasions. These issues are not significant, but they do elicit a sigh of exasperation and a shake of my head. I am grateful that Maria and Raymond also made the transition to the new branch. While both of them are absolutely EXCEPTIONAL, my focus today is on pharmacy technician Wendy.
Here's the backstory: Last week, I visited to collect my prescriptions and was informed that I had an outstanding balance. As I had never been required to pay before, I was perplexed and sought clarification. The response I received? "That's what the computer says." And then she simply walked away.
Today, after contacting my insurance provider and learning that I should not be making any payments, armed with all the necessary information, I returned. This time, I conversed with Wendy. She patiently guided me through each aspect of the situation, ensuring that all my queries were addressed. Her composure and expertise were truly commendable. While I would have given a 5-star rating, I am still somewhat unsettled by the indifferent response of "that's what the computer says." followed by walking away. Although I still have to make a payment, understanding the reason behind it makes a significant difference. In my opinion, excellent customer service should not be the exception but the norm.
Hats off to Wendy, Maria, and Raymond. Thank you!!!!
I have visited that establishment approximately 7 times, and on EVERY occasion, I have been welcomed by Valentine (I hope I spelled that correctly). He consistently provides exceptional customer service. I have observed his interactions with numerous patrons, and he consistently demonstrates courtesy and friendliness towards all. Many young individuals these days seem to believe that being friendly is uncool or simply do not care. It is truly refreshing to witness someone who genuinely provides outstanding service in this day and age. If he is not already the manager, he certainly deserves to be!
