A few months ago, I developed pink eye, something I hadn't experienced since childhood. I was a patient at another prominent eye care facility in Wake Forest for many years, ever since we relocated here almost 8 years ago. I tried calling them multiple times to schedule an appointment for this issue, but they never answered or returned my messages. When I finally reached someone there, she was unfriendly and unhelpful.
Extremely unprofessional!! If I could rate it negatively, I would. The office staff cancelled my and my daughter's yearly eye appointment because we didn't respond to their text. Not everyone is glued to their devices. This is highly unprofessional. Last year, they refused to release my daughter's glasses until I paid a small debt that belonged to my mother, not me!!!! So frustrated.
Dr. Merckle and his team provided excellent care in a comfortable and pristine environment. I visited two weeks ago and they significantly improved my vision. My family and I wholeheartedly recommend North Wake Eye Care!
