Today was an Exceptional Day in Rocky Mount at A Beauty on Fairview Rd. Stepping into the store as a loyal patron, I approached the owner with a request to donate a mannequin head for my summer School Program Cosmetology Class at Rocky Mount Preparatory School. Without any hesitation, he proceeded to gather all the items I needed and more from the shelves. We often lament the lack of support from businesses in our communities. However, I can confidently say that we do have Business Advocates, and A Beauty certainly exemplifies that. My heart overflowed with joy and my eyes welled up with tears at his dedication to supporting our youth. Thank you once again, A Beauty.
