I recently had my navel pierced at this establishment. The piercer did not offer much explanation before or during the procedure, but I took it in my stride. They provided a standard piece of jewelry for me to switch into in case the initial one was too short. This raised a concern for me, as previous piercers have always advised me to return for any jewelry changes while the piercing is still healing. A day after getting the piercing, I noticed more tightness and discomfort than usual, so I sought a second opinion from another piercer (at a different shop) a couple of days later. I was informed that the piercing was done too long and with inappropriate ("novelty") jewelry, and that I would not be able to use standard jewelry if I allowed it to heal. The second piercer removed it for me, and I went back to queen’s gambit to address the issue. A different staff member was present during my visit, and she was somewhat impolite right from the start. I explained the situation regarding the piercing and inquired about a refund. She mentioned that they do not offer refunds but could redo the piercing for me despite me having removed it myself, without attempting to understand the situation or investigate what went wrong. I left feeling that the issue was not adequately resolved as, even if refunds are not their policy, she should have shown more interest in understanding the problem with the piercing, especially since it was problematic through no fault of mine.
Monica is the MOST AMAZING! Her artwork is incredibly stunning and intricate. Every tattoo she has created for me is a masterpiece, and I have full confidence in her ability to deliver perfection every single time. She has become my preferred tattoo artist, and I wholeheartedly endorse her.
I'm from France and was a tad anxious about locating a reliable piercing studio. But I am absolutely thrilled with my belly button piercing. It was done with precision and Monica also provided guidance on aftercare. I have enthusiastically recommended her to my acquaintances :)
