I recently took my 3-year-old to J’lyn for braids, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! J’lyn was incredibly patient, understanding that little ones need breaks, and she created a warm and comfortable atmosphere. I have been frequenting this establishment since March 2023 and opting for acrylics. Today, however, marked a dreadful experience for me. The nail technician inadvertently cracked my nail while removing my acrylics. He neglected to sand them down beforehand and disregarded my complaints as I expressed my discomfort and pain. Despite my protests, the nail tech continued to forcefully remove my nails, insisting that it is always a painful process. I attempted to explain that professional nail removal should not be excruciating, unlike when one does it themselves.
