Thank you so much for the fantastic haircut! I had who I think was Alex (sorry I forgot your name but this was the name on the license at the chair I sat in). You have no idea how kind and personable you were, you knew exactly what I was looking for- no inspo photos needed! For 10+ years I continued to go to a local place, I had many rude stylists who said this ‘face framing’ haircut would look ridiculous on me. I would easily pay $100+ , leave with just a trim and upset. But you did it with such ease, asked me how I wanted the layers and length to be, I was shook, wow! I will absolutely be returning and hope to get you again. Thank you!
I’ve been to this location a couple times since visiting Albany. Both times were with different gentlemen, but both times they listened and understood exactly what I was looking for. More importantly, they executed with precision and professionalism. I’ll be back!
I normally would never leave a bad review even if I got a bad haircut but this hairdresser was so rude and cut so much hair that it looks terrible. She asked what I wanted and I explained it to her and showed her the length of the cut I wanted. She refused to cut my hair without a picture so I pulled one up explaining how I wanted it. While cutting my hair she was soooo aggressive like pulling my hair so hard that the chair kept trying to spin while she pinned it up or cut it. She held the blow dryer so close to my neck and just left it there not moving it around. It was burning my neck and I had to move away because it was so hot. She didn’t care. Because she was so rough during the haircut her fingers kept scraping inside my ears. She wet my hair, cut it, blow dried it, and then REwet it and cut more off, blow dried it and cut more. It wasn’t until the end when I put my glasses on that I saw the damage she did. The picture she demanded to have showed shoulder length hair and by the end my hair was way above my chin!!! It looked awful. She saw the look of horror on my face and had the audacity to say “People come to get their hair cut to get a new aesthetic and this is your new aesthetic.” I couldn’t even speak. I left the salon holding back tears. I have never been to such a rude, aggressive hairstylist before. I will never be back.
