Fantastic bargains on all your necessities and desires. The employees are helpful, and the store is well-organized. They are always ready to assist and are consistently friendly and courteous. I've found everything I needed there. If something's not in stock, just ask, and they'll likely be able to get it for you.
Today's experience was absolutely dreadful. I am beyond outraged and furious. I went in to buy $1 Wet and Wild eyeshadows with a coupon for $1 off any Wet and Wild eyeshadow, with no exclusions mentioned. I also wanted to purchase the Arm and Hammer 5ct pods with a $1 off coupon for any Arm and Hammer product, again with no exclusions stated. Additionally, I planned to buy the Tide Simply on sale for $2.95 and use my $1 off coupon, but the manager refused to accept any of my coupons. I left all my items behind and went to another Dollar General in town, where the manager accused me of trying to commit coupon fraud. I have used these coupons at both locations numerous times before without any issues. I reported this incident to corporate, but I am deeply unsettled by the manager's insinuations that I was stealing or committing fraud, or perhaps because of my race. Today's experience at Dollar General left me utterly disgusted.
This Dollar General is top-notch! Always tidy and fully stocked. The only downside is that they usually have only one checkout open, so during peak times, there might be a short wait. Apart from that, it's a fantastic spot for a quick visit to grab your essentials!
