Kim is truly exceptional. She has become my new preferred technician. Today (9/28/24), I visited Pinky Nails, and once again, I was thoroughly satisfied with the exceptional care my daughter and I received. The warmth is palpable from the moment you step inside. A special mention to Rose for consistently looking after me, Nana for attending to my daughter, Tina for exceeding her job responsibilities, and Tammy for greeting us with a warm smile upon arrival.
Pinky Nails exceeds expectations! I've been a loyal customer for some time now, receiving excellent service from Tammy and Twan for dip nails and pedicures. The salon exudes a welcoming atmosphere, and I appreciate the convenience of booking appointments online.
The images depict my desired look versus the final outcome. I presented the nail technician with multiple photo references to convey my preferences. None of the available dip colors matched the photos I showed. He displayed various color options, which I found helpful. However, as my dissatisfaction grew with the choices, he became visibly frustrated with my indecisiveness. Eventually, he remarked, "If you're unsure, I can't assist you further. I'm just an employee." I started feeling uneasy. Reluctantly, I agreed to a color he claimed would resemble the photos, but it turned out to be far off. When I requested an almond shape, he insisted my nails were too short, though I believe almond nails can be done on short lengths. Perhaps he lacked the necessary skills. In short, I ended up with nails I dislike, and the technician's attitude was consistently rude instead of upfront about his limitations.
