I had a pedicure and the experience was pleasant, but I was dissatisfied with the lack of transparency regarding pricing. Despite inquiring about the cost of gel, it was not clearly indicated on any signage or menu provided for pedicure options. Opting for a basic package for a one-time event, I was charged $30.00. When I requested a French tip, there was no mention of any additional charge. To my surprise, upon completion, the $30.00 pedicure had escalated to $51.00. When questioned, I was informed that the increase was due to the gel and French tip, costing an extra $20.00. While I understand gel polish typically incurs additional fees, the classification of French tip as an extra charge was unexpected, especially since gel polish was used for it. This salon boasts the most exceptional team of hairstylists in the high desert region. I admire the work and styles of the other hairstylists here, and I don't mind driving approximately 2 hours from Victorville to have my hair done by Taylor. It's a journey that's always worth it!
